Artsy Craftsy Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

  • Hate speech or discriminatory content.
  • Threatening language or behaviour.
  • Publishing material intended to cause distress or harm.
  • Targeting users with scams, spam, or misleading communications.

3.4 Prohibited Content

You may not upload, share, promote, or sell content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes unlawful activity.
  • Contains violent or graphic material.
  • Contains hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
  • Contains adult, sexually explicit, or pornographic material.
  • Encourages violence, harassment, or criminal behaviour.
  • Violates intellectual property rights.

3.5 Technical Misuse

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, ransomware, or harmful code.
  • Interfering with the operation of the website or platform.
  • Attempting to exploit software vulnerabilities.
  • Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to manipulate listings, analytics, reviews, or marketplace functions without written permission.

4. Marketplace Conduct

Users participating in the Artsy Craftsy Marketplace must:

  • Provide accurate product descriptions.
  • Use genuine and relevant product photographs.
  • Accurately represent pricing and delivery information.
  • Supply products that comply with applicable laws and safety regulations.
  • Communicate honestly with customers and other users.
  • Deliver products within the stated processing and delivery times.

5. Product and Listing Standards

Products and listings must not:

  • Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • Advertise products unavailable for purchase.
  • Include counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods.
  • Make medical, health, or performance claims that cannot be legally supported.
  • Encourage unsafe use of products.

6. User Content Standards

Any content uploaded to Artsy Craftsy, including listings, photographs, reviews, comments, and messages, must:

  • Be accurate and truthful.
  • Be suitable for a general audience.
  • Respect copyright and intellectual property rights.
  • Not contain threatening, abusive, offensive, or discriminatory material.
  • Not contain personal information belonging to another individual without consent.

Artsy Craftsy reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards.

7. Acceptable Use of Images

Sellers may upload an unlimited number of product photographs provided they are relevant, lawful, and accurately represent the product being sold.

Users must not:

  • Upload copyrighted images without permission.
  • Upload misleading or deceptive photographs.
  • Use images unrelated to the listing.
  • Upload duplicate or repetitive images solely to manipulate listings or search results.
  • Use images to advertise unrelated businesses, websites, or services.

All images must comply with the Artsy Craftsy Seller Image Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Privacy and Personal Information

Users must respect the privacy of others.

You must not:

  • Publish private personal information without consent.
  • Share customer data outside of legitimate business purposes.
  • Collect user information for unauthorised marketing.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or personal information.

9. Reporting Violations

If you believe this policy has been violated, you may report the issue through:

  • The website reporting tools.
  • Customer support channels.

All reports will be reviewed fairly and, where appropriate, investigated confidentially.

10. Enforcement and Consequences
