About the owner

Hello everyone,

My name is Vickie, and I’m based in the West Midlands. I’ve been a passionate crafter for more than 20 years, creating everything from jewellery, cards, cosmetics, and knitted pieces to sewing projects, embroidery, candles, and wax melts.

I’m also a proud mum of two grown sons. One is married to a wonderful young woman, and together they’ve blessed me with three gorgeous grandsons who keep life joyful and busy.

I built Artsy Craftsy as a dedicated space for fellow crafters and artists to showcase and sell their handmade creations. Over the past eleven months, my developer and I have worked tirelessly to create a platform that is simple to use, smooth to navigate, and secure for both sellers and buyers. Payments are processed instantly through PayPal, providing a safe and reliable experience for everyone.

Many of you may already know me from the crafting community. I previously ran TrulyHandcrafted more than ten years ago. Although I had to close it due to mental health and financial challenges, the experience taught me invaluable lessons. I also spent time with ShopHandmade before stepping down for personal reasons. Every step of that journey has helped shape the vision and values behind Artsy Craftsy today.

Artsy Craftsy is my own independent venture, created with heart, experience, and a genuine love for handmade work. While I do have a silent partner, his role is purely technical. He manages the coding, system development, and behind-the-scenes functionality
