Vendors Fair Use Policy
Guidelines for Listings and Community Conduct
Introduction
This Fair Use Policy outlines the acceptable practices and behaviours for users participating in the handmade marketplace. Its purpose is to ensure that all members can enjoy a safe, respectful, and productive environment while buying and selling handmade goods.
Marketplace Conduct
Users of the handmade marketplace are expected to treat others with respect and courtesy at all times. Engaging in harassment, abusive language, or any form of discriminatory behaviour is strictly prohibited.
Product Listings
Only authentic, handmade items may be listed for sale. Sellers must describe their products accurately and honestly, avoiding misleading information or false claims. Mass-produced or factory-made items are not permitted.
Intellectual Property
Sellers must ensure that their products and listings do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Copyrighted designs, trademarks, or any protected content must not be used without appropriate permission.
Buying and Selling Etiquette
Buyers and sellers are expected to communicate clearly and respond to messages in a timely manner. Transactions should be conducted in good faith, with prompt payment and delivery as agreed.
Policy Enforcement
Failure to comply with this Fair Use Policy may result in removal of listings, suspension, or termination of marketplace access, depending on the severity of the violation.
Listing of Products and Photographs
When listing products and photographs on the marketplace, users must follow the guidelines set out in this policy. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all images and descriptions are truthful and represent their handmade goods accurately.
Unlimited Listing Policy for Gold Package Holders
If you hold a gold package, please ensure that you respect the unlimited listing policy. This means using the privilege responsibly and not abusing the ability to list items without restriction, so as to maintain the integrity of the site and avoid placing unnecessary strain on the site. For clarification, listing around 300 items is acceptable, but listing thousands of products is not fair on other sellers with the same package and may lead to increased prices for others to maintain the site due to server space constraints.
